Tata has unveiled the variant-wise feature list of its upcoming SUV -- Safari. It will be offered in six variants: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+.

XE:

Initially, the Safari will be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine only. It makes 170PS and 350Nm paired to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. Tata is expected to introduce a petrol engine and 4WD option on the Safari at a later stage.

Bookings for the Tata Safari will begin from 4 February 2021 followed by launch later in the month. Prices are expected to range from Rs 15 lakh to 24 lakh. It will take on the likes of the MG Hector Plus and upcoming cars like the second-gen XUV500 and the 7-seater version of the Creta.
