Tata Motors have launched the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition, with prices starting from Rs. 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The standout feature of the Nexon EV Max Dark is its new 10.25-inch infotainment system.

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition boasts an all-black exterior paint with dark accents on the grille and bumper. It also features blue accents around the fog lamp surrounds and lower bumper. Around the side, it offers 16-inch alloy wheels finished in grey, ‘EV’ badging on front doors and ‘Dark’ badging on the front fenders. Tata have swapped the blue beltline of the standard Nexon EV Max for a matte black finish for the Dark Edition. The roof rails, too, get a matte black finish. At the rear, it gets ‘Nexon’ badging in black and blue surrounds for the reflectors.

The Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition boasts a range of interior changes. The dashboard is now all-black, with blue inserts around the AC vents and instrument binnacle. The car features black leatherette seats and a leatherette steering wheel with blue stitching, while the door cards get a black leather finish with a tri-arrow pattern. Other features of the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition’s interior include a rotary gear selector with an in-built display, a semi-digital instrument cluster, front ventilated seats, an electronic parking brake, and a wireless phone charger.

The standout feature of the Nexon EV Max Dark's interior is the addition of a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This is the same system that is found in the Harrier and Safari SUVs, but with an EV-specific theme in the Nexon EV Max. The new system offers a wider screen layout with smoother response and wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the system includes a new HD reversing camera with multiple view options. Tata have also added over 180+ voice commands, with support for up to 6 languages.

The Nexon EV Max Dark comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack, which powers a front-mounted electric motor. It offers 143PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 453km on a single charge. It also offers multiple levels for regenerative braking and 3 driving modes. In terms of charging, the Nexon EV Max can be charged from 0-80% in under one hour with a 50kW DC fast charger.
