Skoda Kushaq Secures 15k Bookings - New Variant Coming Soon | V3Cars

Skoda Kushaq received 15,000 bookings in less than 5 months since it went on sale late in June 2021. The Kushaq is considerably smaller than the C-segment rivals like the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. However, there sure are customers interested in buying cars with a German soul. They offer a nice balance of ride and handling with a good feel from the touchpoints inside the cabin.

Skoda Kushaq

Skoda Kushaq was the first product from Skoda in their India 2.0 project. The car is based on the Indianized version of their MQB A0 platform called MQB A0 IN. The second product will be a C-segment sedan called Slavia which will be unveiled on November 18 and launch next year.

Skoda have also announced that they will be launching a new mid-variant in Kushaq’s lineup which will sit between Active and Ambition variants.

The feature list of Kushaq includes LED headlamps with DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, wireless charger, auto AC, connected car tech, electronic stability control, electronic lock differential and 6 airbags.

The 1.5-litre engine comes with cylinder deactivation feature, which cuts fuel supply to 2 of the 4 cylinders to save fuel while cruising.
