Porsche Panamera

Under the hood, the Panamera is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that makes 330PS and 450Nm. The Panamera GTS, on the other hand, gets a bigger 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine making 480PS and 620Nm. The Turbo S also gets the same 4.0-litre V8 engine but in a higher state of tune. It makes 630PS and 820Nm that is enough to shoot the Panamera from 0-100kmph in just 3.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 315kmph.

The Panamera is offered with a hybrid powertrain as well. It is the most powerful Panamera on sale in the country right now. It gets a combination of a V8 petrol engine (571PS/770Nm) and a 136PS electric motor (400Nm) with a combined output of 700PS and 870Nm. Power is sent to wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 100kW electric motor on the Panamera S E-Hybrid draws power from a 17.9 kWh battery and as a result, it has an all-electric range of up to 50km and a top speed of 140kmph.

Along with updated powertrain, it also gets updated suspensions, improved Porsche Torque Vectoring system and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC).

On the inside, features on offer include Porsche Communication Management (PCM) which includes additional functions such as wireless Apple CarPlay, LED matrix headlights with PDLS Plus, Park Assist with a 360-degree camera and a head-up display.

The Porsche Panamera has a limited number of rivals in India. It takes on likes of the BMW M5, Audi RS7 and the Mercedes-AMG 63 S GT 4-door Coupe.
