In this May 2022 Tata cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Tata Motors for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Tata cars sales are improving and which ones are declining.

May 2022 - Tata Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

The Nexon is the big volume car in Tata Motors’ portfolio with the Punch following closely in the second spot.
The Nexon and Punch are the only 2 cars in Tata’s portfolio with a 5-figure monthly sales figure while the Altroz is in the distant 3rd position.
Tiago was in the third position in the month of April, but it dropped down one position in May.
All cars from Tata showed a YoY growth in May.
The Tigor and Nexon are the top gainers with 983.11% and 126.96% YoY growth. Keep in mind that the wild growth seen by Tigor is due its low number for May 2021.
There are no losers for Tata for May YoY.
YoY change for the Punch is not available as it wasn’t on sale in May 2021.

May 2022 - Tata Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

In terms of MoM change, almost all cars witnessed some rise, except Tiago hatchback
Tiago, which was a top gainer in April, turned into the only loser for the month of May
Harrier also slowed growth from 11.80% to 0.32%
