Kia Carnival Now Available With 30-Day Return Scheme

Kia Carnival Now Available With 30-Day Return Scheme | V3Cars

In an industry-first move, Kia has launched the ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’  for the new Kia Carnival buyers. Under this scheme, the buyer can return the Carnival to the company within 30 days of purchase while recovering 95 per cent of the total costs incurred which includes the ex-showroom price and costs incurred during registration, finances and other related costs of the vehicle.

To avail the buyback scheme, the customer has to make sure that Carnival has less than 1500km on its odometer from the purchase date and there are no mechanical or electrical issues with the car. The MPV should also be free from any pending claims and free from Hypothecation (in case of purchase finance) and should receive a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the financier.

It is to be noted that this service is available for private owners only and will not be applicable for cab or fleet operators.

The Carnival is Kias flagship offering in India. It is an MPV that is offered with 7-,8- and 9-seater options. It is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that makes 200PS and 440Nm paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Features on offer include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, auto LED projector headlamps, push-button start, powered tailgate, dual electric sunroof, three-zone AC, power sliding rear doors, electrically adjustable driver’s seat with ventilation, connected car tech, air purifier, Harman Kardon sound system, wireless mobile charging and a rear-seat entertainment system.

Safety features on offer include up to 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, parking camera, electronic stability control, hill launch assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Kia offers the Carnival in three variants: Premium, Prestige and Limousine with prices ranging from Rs 24.95 lakh to Rs 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It has no direct rivals in India as it sits above the Toyota Innova Crysta. However, it can be seen as a more affordable alternative to the Mercedes Benz V-Class and the Toyota Vellfire.

Meanwhile, Kia is planning to launch the next-gen Carnival in India in 2022. It not only features a new design but is bigger and better equipped than the current model.
