2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Spotted

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Spotted | V3Cars

The Venue is one of the top-selling sub-4m SUVs in the Indian market. Hyundai are currently working on a mid-cycle facelift of the Venue. Some images of the Venue facelift surfaced online, which show the car wearing heavy camouflage. However, the images still reveal some notable changes we can expect from the 2022 Venue facelift. The new images reveal tweaked LED taillights and alloy wheels.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift

We expect Hyundai to redo the Venue’s front end and also offer a different headlamp cluster with the car’s facelift. It may also get some changes with the bumpers but we’re not expecting any significant sheet metal changes. The Venue test car was riding on new alloy wheels with twin exhaust pipes. So, we can expect N-Line variants of the Venue just like the i20. Around the back, the Venue facelift will get split LED taillights, which may look more modern than the squared-off one's on the current model.

On the powertrain’s front, we’re expecting no changes. So, the Venue facelift might retain the same engine and gearbox options. However, we can expect Hyundai to reserve minor mechanical changes for the Venue N Line, just like we saw with the i20 N Line. The Venue offers 1.2-litre normal petrol, 1.5-litre turbo diesel, and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. We expect the new Venue to go on sale in India between July and October 2022. Hyundai Venue facelift will continue to compete against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and other players in the segment.
