With the completion of 20 years in the Indian market, Skoda India celebrates their momentous milestone with the highest 3D projection in India. The highest 3D projection, that took place on the Rohtang pass at 10,942 feet above sea level, showcased the long way Skoda India has come with the new Skoda Kushaq.

As per Skoda, this extensive project took 3 months of planning with the help of 156 crew members who devoted over 54,000 man-hours. Over 12 projectors were used to project the 3D film on a large mountain that was used as a canvas. Talking about the journey of Skoda in India, the Czech carmaker entered the Indian market with the first-gen Octavia in 2002. The Octavia was the benchmark for its class and Skoda continued with their mid-size sedan with multiple facelifts and generations.

Skipping to 2021, Skoda India successfully launched the Kushaq that is based on the MQB-AO IN platform with over 90 per cent localisation. For the year 2022, Skoda India will launch the new Slavia that is also based on the MQB-AO IN platform. Skoda India will also launch the locally-assembled Kodiaq facelift that we expect to get launched before the Slavia.
