Hyundai Aura

The 2021 Aura will be equipped with a rear spoiler in all variants (S, SX and SX(O)) save for the base-spec E variant. The E variant will also get a 13-inch steel wheel replacing the 14-inch unit found on the 2020 model. Coming to the S variant, it will now get 15-inch styled steel wheels as standard while the AMT variant will get Gunmetal finish wheels. Currently, the S variant comes with 14-inch steel wheels with covers while the AMT variants get 15-inch styled steel wheels.

Hyundai will also update the top-spec SX and SX(O) variants as it will miss out on Arkamys Premium sound system which is being offered on the current model.

Hyundai Aura

Under the hood, the 2021 Aura will be offered with the same engine options as before. It gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (83PS/113Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (100PS/172Nm) and a 1.2-litre diesel engine (75PS/190Nm). The Aura also comes with a Bi-fuel CNG fuel option with the 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 69PS and 95Nm. All the engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard with an option of the 5-speed AMT with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre diesel engines.

Prices of the 2021 Hyundai Aura are expected to remain similar current model which retails from Rs 5.92 lakh to Rs 9.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It rivals likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Ford Aspire and Tata Tigor. It also faces competition from the starting variants of the Skoda Rapid as it starts from Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
