Hyundai Alcazar Unveiled As A Rendered 3D Model | V3Cars
Hyundai recently teased the upcoming Alcazar SUV in a set of official sketches. Now, the SUV has been revealed in its entirety, courtesy of a 3D model that has surfaced online.
Compared to the Creta, the Alcazar features an updated front end. It gets a new chrome grille with a criss-cross pattern flanked by LED headlamps. The front bumper is also updated featuring larger fog lamps and a chunkier faux skid plate. Coming to the side, it looks similar to the Creta till the B-pillar after that it gets a flatter roofline, flatter window line, thicker C-pillar and a bigger quarter glass to accommodate the longer rear overhang.
At the back, the Alcazar will also feature a completely new rear end with a flatter tailgate, wider wrap-around tail lamps with C-shaped LED detailing and a taller rear bumper with a faux skid plate. While on the Creta the tail lamps are connected by a black trim element, on the Alcazar, tail lamps are connected by a chrome element with ‘Alcazar’ embossing. The Alcazar also gets rear fog lamps, unlike the Creta. All in all, the Alcazar looks more premium and upmarket compared to the Creta.
Inside the cabin, the Alcazar’s cabin looks identical to the Creta save for an additional row of seats. The official sketch also revealed that the Alcazar will get captain seats in the second row with a floor-mounted centre handrest. The Alcazar will also be offered with a 7-seater configuration with a bench-type seat instead of the captain seats in the second row.
Alcazar’s feature list is also expected to be similar to that of the Creta. It gets features like a panoramic sunroof, auto LED headlamps, digital instrument cluster, auto AC with rear AC vents, air purifier, ambient lighting, powered driver’s seat, Bose sound system, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and connected car tech.
Safety features on offer include upto 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and hill hold control.
Under the hood, the Alcazar will come with the same set of petrol and diesel engines as the Creta. There are three engine options on offer:
