BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At Rs. 1.20 Crore | V3Cars

BMW have launched the X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition at Rs. 1.20 crore ex-showroom. The German carmaker will locally assemble the X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition at its assembly plant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

BMW announced their plans to launch 10 special M Sport and M models to celebrate 50 years of the M brand. The bookings for the X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition are now open and buyers can book one from BMW India’s website. The X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition gets a gloss-black kidney grille, BMW laser lights, 21-inch black alloy wheels as well as BMW’s new M logo at the front, rear and wheel hub caps.

On the inside, the X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition gets an M steering wheel, M colour stitched seatbelts, sports seats with heating, electric adjustment and memory function, panoramic sunroof, sporty gloss-black touches, 5-zone climate control and middle-row captain seats.

BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition

On the powertrain front, the BMW X7 40i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition comes with a 3.0L turbo petrol engine. It produces 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 5200rpm. It comes with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and 4-wheel-drive. This setup makes it capable of hitting 0-100kmph in just 6.1 seconds.

BMW revealed the X7 facelift in global markets earlier this year. It came with a new face and the latest tech from BMW. BMW are likely to offer the new X7 in India in the coming months. Ahead of the X7, we expect BMW to launch the new-gen 7-Series to take on the likes of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8 L.
