9 Features Hyundai Verna Gets But Hyundai Creta Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Hyundai Verna 2023 is the latest C2-segment sedan in the country and we have already compared it with all its arch rivals. However, since its prices clash with its SUV sibling — the Hyundai Creta – here’s how Hyundai's sedan compares against their SUV in terms of features. In this article, we share 9 features that you get in the new Verna but miss in the Creta.
1. Front Parking Sensors
While both the Creta and Verna offer rear parking sensors and camera, the Verna also offers front parking sensors. Front parking sensors give you an idea about the clearance up ahead and help park the care with ease.
2. ADAS
The top variants of the new Verna offer advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). These features include auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go assist, lane keeping assist and rear collision avoidance. The Creta, on the other hand, doesn’t offer any ADAS features.
3. Cornering Lamps
While both the new Verna and Creta offer LED headlights, the new Verna also offers cornering lamps. Cornering lamps light up the corners of the road while you make a turn. It makes driving at night safe and effortless.

4. Heated Front Seats
While both the Creta and Verna offer ventilated front seats, the new Verna is the only C-segment vehicle to offer heated front seats as well.
5. Hands-Free Tailgate
The new Verna offers a hands-free tailgate that electromagnetically unlatches the boot when it detects the driver standing near the tailgate. This feature comes in handy especially when your hands are full with luggage.
6. Rear Windscreen Curtain
The new Verna offers a blind on the rear windscreen that cuts down harsh sunlight in the cabin. The Creta, on the other hand, offers rear window blinds, which are missing in the new Verna.
7. Soft Touch Dashboard
The new Verna is the only sedan in its segment to offer a soft touch dashboard with faux leather inserts. The Creta, on the other hand, offers hard plastic on its dashboard with a faux stitch finish.

8. Telescopic Steering
While both the Creta and Verna offer tilt steering, the Verna also offers telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel. Telescopic steering helps find a comfortable driving position, especially for short drivers. This feature is sorely missed in the Creta, given that it comes as standard in the Verna and even the i20.
9. All Adjustable Headrests
The new Verna offers adjustable headrests for all passengers, including the rear middle passenger. The Creta, on the other hand, doesn’t even offer a fixed headrest for the rear middle passenger.
