8 Features Hyundai Venue Gets But Tata Nexon Doesn’t | V3Cars

The Hyundai Venue is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. It has some stiff rivals in the form of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon and the Kia Sonet. Meanwhile, the Tata Nexon recently received a new variant called the Jet Edition, which packs new features and design updates.

Features Hyundai Venue Gets Over Tata Nexon

In this article, we tell you 8 features that are missing in the Tata Nexon but available with Hyundai Venue.

1. Power-adjustable Driver Seat

The Hyundai Venue comes with a segment-first power-adjustable driver seat. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets a 6-way manually-adjustable driver seat. It is worth mentioning that the electric adjustment in the Venue only works for fore and aft and backrest recline while the height adjustment remains a manual job.

2. Rear Disc Brakes

While the Venue only gets front disc brakes, the recently-launched Venue N Line gets all-4 disc brakes. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.

3. Side And Curtain Airbags

The Hyundai Venue offers 2 front thorax airbags and side curtain airbags over the Nexon, which comes with only 2 front airbags. However, the Nexon gets a 5-star Global NCAP crash test rating while the new Venue is yet to be crash tested by Global NCAP.

4. Puddle Lamps

The Hyundai Venue comes with puddle lamps that are placed below the ORVMs. Puddle lamps illuminate the surroundings of the car to help you have an easy ingress and egress.

5. Remote Engine Start

The Hyundai Venue comes with a remote engine start feature that can be used to pre-cool the cabin. The smart key of the Venue gets a button for remote engine start. It is worth noting that both the Nexon and Venue get telematics but only the Venue gets remote engine start feature.

6. Reclining Rear Seat

The Hyundai Venue comes with a 60:40 rear split seat with recline. You can recline the backrest for up to 2 steps and can set it up to your preference. It comes in handy on long and tiring highway drives.

7. Ambient Lighting

The new Hyundai Venue comes with blue ambient lighting on the passenger side of the dashboard and on the centre console. It is worth noting that the Venue N Line offers red ambient lighting whereas the regular variants get the blue lighting.
