7 Missing Features Hyundai Creta Gets Over Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki recently revealed their all-new Grand Vitara hybrid SUV for our market. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara rivals other C-Segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
We put the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara against the Hyundai Creta to tell you 7 features that are missing in the Creta but present in the Grand Vitara.
1. Mild- And Strong Hybrid Powertrains
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes with 1.5L mild-hybrid and 1.5L strong hybrid powertrain options. The Grand Vitara offers a segment-best fuel efficiency of 27.97kmpl with the strong hybrid powertrain. The Hyundai Creta, on the other hand, offers a diverse range of engine options but none offer any kind of hybridisation.

2. All-Wheel-Drive
The 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol engine in the Grand Vitara comes with the option of all-wheel-drive, albeit with the manual transmission only. Meanwhile, Hyundai offer the Creta with a front-wheel-drive drivetrain only.
3. 360-Degree Parking Camera
Maruti Suzuki offer the Grand Vitara with a 360-degree parking camera along with a birds-eye view camera. In addition to that, it also alerts the driver about obstacles ahead with the help of the front camera. The Hyundai Creta lacks a 360-degree parking camera and front parking sensors. Its sibling, the Seltos, offers both in its top-spec variants.
4. More Standard Features
The Grand Vitara comes with more standard features than the Hyundai Creta. The standard features include keyless entry with push-button start/stop, rear armrest, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, telescopic steering, 17-inch wheels, auto AC, 60:40 split seats, PM 2.5 air purifier, rear disc brakes, electronic stability control and hill-start assist.
5. Soft-Touch Leather Dashboard
Maruti Suzuki offer the Grand Vitara with a leather-wrapped dashboard and soft touch door cards. The Creta, on the other hand, gets a plastic dashboard with a faux stitching pattern.
6. Telescopic Steering
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara offers tilt and telescopic steering as standard across all variants. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta only offers tilt function for the steering wheel. It’s shocking as the Hyundai i20, which is much cheaper than the Creta, offers both tilt and telescopic steering as standard.

7. Head-Up Display
The Grand Vitara comes with a head-up display which offers vital information like driving data, turn-by-turn navigation, and power distribution. The Creta only comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster against the all-digital instrument cluster of the Grand Vitara.
