Both SUVs get the same transmission options as well – a 6-speed manual and CVT. However, the Creta petrol-manual offers a slightly better claimed fuel efficiency or mileage of 17.4kmpl over the Seltos’ 17.0kmpl figure. While the Creta and Seltos turbo-petrol get a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, the Kia Seltos offers a 6-speed manual transmission as well. The Creta and Astor are the only turbo petrol SUVs that do not get the option of a manual transmission.

The Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos offer the most power and torque among this bunch with 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque on tap. The Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq’s 1.0-litre turbo petrol offers the least power and torque at 115PS and 178Nm, respectively.
