Update (Dec 4, 2023): MG Motor India today announced that they will increase the prices of their cars from January 1, 2024. The magnitude of the price hike for the Gloster and MG cars in general was not declared but we expect it to be in the 1-2% range.

The MG Gloster SUV is available with 2 engine-transmission combinations. The ex-showroom prices of the 2024 Gloster start from ₹37.50 lakh for the Sharp variant with the 2.0L turbo diesel engine and 8-speed TC. The range tops out at ₹43.00 lakh (ex-showroom) with the Black Storm 7 S variant, which gets 2.0L turbo diesel engine with 8-speed TC. Here are the variant-wise prices below:

Dimensions of MG Gloster
The 2024 Gloster is 4985mm long, 1926mm wide and 1867mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Gloster has a 2950mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile. The 2024 MG Gloster has a fuel tank capacity of 75 litres and a boot space measuring 343 litres. The Gloster has a ground clearance of 210mm. The tyre size of the 2024 Gloster base model is 255/55 R19 and the top model rides on 255/55 R19 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and mileage.

The MG Gloster is only available with a 2.0L turbo diesel engine and a 8-speed Automatic transmission. This engine makes 161PS of power at 4000rpm and 374Nm of torque 1500 and 2400rpm.
