Upcoming Cars In September 2022 — SUVs Galore! | V3Cars
We are set to witness a couple of interesting launches in September 2022 — right from the fire-packed Hyundai Venue N Line to the uber-luxurious Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, Here is a list of cars and SUVs that are likely to hit our shores in September 2022.
Hyundai Venue N Line — Launch On September 6
Hyundai India have commenced bookings for the new Venue N Line, and the token amount is set at Rs. 21,000. It will come with a couple of cosmetic updates, such as a new N Line grille, different alloy wheels, red inserts and twin exhaust pipes. The Venue N Line will carry the same 1.0L turbo petrol engine, which pumps out 120PS of power and 172Nm of torque, seen in the regular Venue. However, it will only come with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Citroen C5 Aircross Facelift — Launch Likely On September 7
Citroen India are gearing up to refresh the C5 Aircross soon. The 2022 C5 Aircross facelift made its debut in global markets in January and it’s now heading to India. It comes with an updated face, featuring a new grille and new LED DRLs. Other changes include new 18-inch alloy wheels, tweaked LED tail lights and body cladding all around. It is likely to make use of the same 2.0L turbo diesel engine, pumping out 177PS of power and 400Nm of torque
Mahindra XUV400 — Launch On September 8
Mahindra showcased the XUV300 Electric at the 2022 Auto Expo and it is now finally set to launch the electric SUV, albeit with a new name — XUV400. Although details are scarce we expect it to pack a 40kWh battery pack along with a strong electric motor to power the front wheels. The XUV400 will measure around 4.2 metres in length and will rival the Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Hyundai Kona Electric facelift.

Mahindra XUV300 Turbo — Launch Likely In Early September
The Mahindra XUV300 is long due an update and it is finally coming with a new engine. The new XUV300 will also wear the new twin peaks logo from Mahindra. Mahindra have hinted towards impressive acceleration figures, courtesy of the new 1.2L turbo petrol engine with gasoline direct injection. The new XUV300 could be the fastest and most-powerful B2-segment SUV in the market. We can also expect a couple of new features and a tweaked dashboard layout with the update.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder — Launch Likely In Early September
After what seems like ages, Toyota are set to launch an all-new SUV in the market. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder shares its underpinnings and powertrains with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Toyota opened bookings for the Hyryder in July and they have managed to get more bookings for the strong hybrid variants. Toyota will offer the Hyryder with 2 engine options — 1.5L normal petrol with 5-speed MT, 5-speed MT with 4-wheel-drive and 6-speed torque converter; and a 1.5L hybrid petrol with an e-CVT.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara — Launch Likely In Mid September
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is set to replace the S-Cross in the Nexa range. Like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, it will also come with a 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L hybrid petrol engine options. The 1.5L normal petrol will come with 5-speed MT, 5-speed MT with 4-wheel-drive and 6-speed torque converter whereas the hybrid engine will get an e-CVT. The bookings for the Grand Vitara are currently open and you can book yours either online or from Nexa dealerships.

Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 — Launch Likely In Late September
The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the most-popular family SUVs in the world and its latest iteration is making its way to our market. Toyota will offer the new Land Cruiser LC300 with a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 diesel engine, mated to a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission and 4-wheel-drive. Toyota will offer the new LC300 in 5 exterior colours — white, metallic white, red, black and blue. Furthermore, Toyota will also offer 3 interior colour options — beige, black and red. The bookings for the Land Cruiser are currently open at select Toyota dealerships.
