Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG Bookings Open — Price Reveal Soon | V3Cars

Toyota India have commenced bookings for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG ahead of its price announcement. Toyota will offer the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG in S and G variants. The CNG variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder with be powered by the 1.5L normal petrol engine.

Toyota are all set to launch the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG soon. When launched, it will become the first C-segment SUV to offer a factory-fitted CNG powertrain. While the specifications on the CNG powertrain are under wraps, Toyota have revealed that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will deliver a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.1kmpkg.

Toyota have also confirmed that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will be powered by the 1.5L normal petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. Like the Glanza CNG shares its powertrain with the Baleno CNG, we expect the Urban Cruiser Hyryder to share its powertrain with the Maruti Nexa XL6 CNG.

We expect the 1.5L petrol-CNG engine to offer 87.83PS of power @ 5500rpm and 121.5Nm of torque at 4200rpm. As Toyota have already confirmed, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will offer a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.1kmpkg.

With the G variant, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder will offer features like LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera, ambient lighting, Arkamys sound system, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Toyota are likely to charge Rs. 95,000 for the CNG option over the G and S petrol variants. After the launch of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG, Maruti Suzuki could bring the CNG option for the Grand Vitara.
