Toyota Glanza CNG Launched — Prices Start From Rs. 8.43 Lakh | V3Cars

Toyota India have launched the Glanza CNG and bookings are now open. The Glanza CNG comes in 2 variants — S at Rs. 8.43 lakh and G at Rs. 9.46 lakh ex-showroom.

Toyota Glanza CNG is the first CNG offering from the Japanese carmaker in India. Alongside the Glanza CNG, Toyota have also opened bookings for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG. However, prices for the bi-fuel variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder haven’t been revealed yet.

The 1.2L K-series engine in the Glanza CNG offers 77.5PS of power at 6000rpm and 99Nm of torque at 4300rpm. It comes with a sole 5-speed manual transmission whereas the petrol engine also offers the option of a 5-speed automated manual transmission. The claimed fuel efficiency of the Glanza CNG is 30.61kmpkg.

With the G variant, the Glanza CNG offers features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 16-inch alloy wheels, 6 airbags, a full-colour MID, LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights and 60:40 rear seat split.

The Toyota Glanza CNG and it’s Maruti Nexa cousin, the Baleno CNG, are currently the only premium hatchbacks in the country with a CNG option. The Baleno CNG and Glanza CNG make use of the same powertrain and offer similar fuel efficiency as well. Tata Motors are likely to soon join the party with the launch of the Altroz CNG.
