In this September 2022 Cars Sales Analysis article, we’ll look at the total and average sales figures of the 20 top-selling cars in the last 6 months ending September 2022. We’ll also share the monthly sales figures of each of these 20 cars for the last 6 months.

April 2022 - September 2022 – Top-Selling Cars – 6-Month Total & Average

Maruti Suzuki retained its massive lead over other carmakers, with 7 out of the top 10 best-selling cars, based on average sales figures between the months of April and September 2022.
The Tata Nexon is still the best-selling non-Maruti car on the list. It holds the 3rd position in September.
The Hyundai Creta is the second best-selling non-Maruti car in 6th spot.
The Toyota Innova Crysta retained its position on the top 20 list for sales between April 2022 and September 2022, and remains the only car from Toyota that has been able to make it in the list for the past several months.
Notable brands that didn’t make it on this list are Nissan, Renault, Volkswagen, Skoda and Honda.
