Interior dashboard and steering wheel images of the Tata Punch just surfaced online while the upcoming Tata sub-4m SUV was testing on public roads. The exterior was properly covered in camouflage, but the interior had no such treatment.

The cabin image confirms that the Tata Punch will get a popup-style 7-inch touchscreen similar to what we’ve seen in the Altroz. This will also have Android Auto and Apple Carplay for native smartphone connectivity.

Here’s an image of the Altroz’ touchscreen for reference:

The central AC vents, however, are squarish and colour-matched to the exterior. The Punch also has the same full-colour 7-inch instrument cluster display with a digital tachometer as available in the higher variants of the Altroz. The controls for auto AC are also visible in the photo.

The steering wheel of the Punch SUV is also similar to the steering wheel of the Altroz. It gets an easy-reach horn and buttons for media control, playback and phone call. On the right side of the steering wheel, the steering has buttons for cruise control.

Tata Punch Bookings

We had reported earlier that Tata could reveal the Punch and start accepting bookings on September 12. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but unofficially, dealers have started accepting bookings for the SUV. We are expecting to see the complete price list sometime in the first or second week of October.
