Tata Punch Reveal on October 4 2021 Launch soon | V3Cars
Tata will reveal their new SUV, the Tata Punch on October 4, 2021. The carmaker is also likely to commence bookings for the car on the same day or on the 7th of October. We are expecting Tata to launch the vehicle and announce variant-wise prices of the Punch SUV in the first half of October. Deliveries could start before the end of next month so that customers can have their car before Diwali.
Tata has given us a lot of teasers of the Punch. It’s now time for all the official details to put speculation to rest. The emergence of 1.0-litre normal petrol variants of the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger has sparked a lot of interest among buyers looking for big SUV styling on a budget.
The more powerful sub-4m SUVs continue to remain popular eating into the hatchback and sedan segments as they shrink by the day. However, soon, Tata will have something to compete in the affordable SUV segment with the Punch. Unlike the Magnite and Kiger, the Punch is not just an affordable version of the Nexon with a non-turbo petrol engine but a completely new car. The Punch uses the frame of the Altroz, which achieved a 5-star safety score in the GNCAP. So, we should expect nothing less.
We’re expecting the Tata Punch to cost between Rs. 5.5 lakh and Rs. 8.0 lakh.
