Tata Harrier Facelift Official Launch Timeline

N Chandrasekaran shared that Tata will launch the updated Harrier SUV later this year. The Harrier facelift was spotted on test multiple times featuring prominent design changes. We expect the Harrier facelift to borrow design cues from the Harrier EV concept that made its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo.

2023 Tata Harrier Facelift Design Changes

Firsty, the new Harrier facelift will get updated split LED headlights, most probably with a vertical headlight arrangement. It will continue to get LED DRLs that also double up as turn indicators. The Harrier facelift could also offer a larger grille, updated front and rear bumpers, and a new design for the 17-inch alloy wheels. The tail lights, too, could get a new LED pattern with sequential turn indicators.

2023 Tata Harrier Facelift Interior Spied

The interior images of the new Harrier SUV reveal some key changes in an otherwise unchanged dashboard. To start with, the new Harrier facelift gets a 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster,  both of which are already available in the current Harrier. Furthermore, the new Harrier facelift gets a stubby new gear selector lever from Tata-owned Jaguar cars. The interior images also reveal new steering-mounted controls, which hint towards an all-new steering wheel for the Harrier facelift featuring the illuminated Tata logo.

2023 Tata Harrier Facelift Powertrain Details

While the Harrier facelift will continue to offer the same 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine as the current model, it could also debut Tata’s new 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Tata Motors revealed their new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine at the Auto Expo 2023. It produces 170PS of power and 280Nm of torque and could come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. 

2023 Tata Harrier Facelift Expected Prices And Rivals

Currently, the Tata Harrier prices start from Rs. 15.20 lakh and go up to Rs. 24.27 lakh. With the upcoming facelift, the Harrier facelift prices could start from Rs. 15.50 lakh and go up to Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom). The Harrier facelift will continue to rival other D1-segment SUVs like the MG Hector and Mahindra XUV300 5-seater.
