Renault Duster Images Leaked Ahead Of 2025 Launch | V3Cars
Renault’s sister brand Dacia unveiled the all-new, third-generation Duster in November 2023. Now, images of the Duster adorned with the Renault badge have leaked online, previewing the SUV that is set for a 2025 launch in India. Last month, Renault officials revealed Renaulution, the brand’s new growth strategy for India, and the Duster plays a big part in it. So let’s dive into the latest Duster images and check out its design and features.
2025 Renault Duster Images Leaked – Exterior Design
While the overall design of the Renault Duster is the same as the Dacia version, the former gets a new grille with the letters ‘RENAULT’ written across it. The only other visual difference on the outside is the new Renault logo on the tailgate instead of ‘DACIA’ lettering.
The new Duster retains the boxy proportions that made the older model so popular in India. It now features a chiselled bonnet, which is quite high set and adds to the new Duster’s rugged appeal. Around the side, the new Renault Duster gets plastic cladding in the lower half and squared-off wheel arches. 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, muscular rear haunches, a small rear quarter glass and roof rails are other highlights of the Duster’s design. It is interesting to note that the rear door handles are now placed in the C-pillar, which makes the design seem sleeker than before. At the rear, the SUV gets a sporty roof spoiler, Y-shaped LED tail lamps and a prominent skid plate.
2025 Renault Duster Interior Design And Features
The new Duster gets a well-equipped interior when compared to its predecessor that was sold in India. For instance, the new Duster gets a 7-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. We expect the India-spec model to offer features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While the dashboard in the Euro-spec Duster is covered in different shades of grey, we could expect a lighter colour scheme in the India-spec model. Meanwhile, the centre console is angled towards the driver and houses the central AC vents as well as controls for the infotainment and HVAC system. Lower down, there’s a neat cubby hole for storage as well as a wireless charging pad, 12V socket and 2 USB-C outlets.

The steering wheel in the new Duster is quite chunky and offers controls for various functions of the SUV. While the manual variants feature a gear lever borrowed from Renault cars, the automatic variants get toggle switches to select the drive modes. A few images of the new Duster’s cabin show a rotary dial behind the gear lever for toggling between the various terrain modes. However, the biggest highlight is the optional Sleep Pack that comes with a fold-out double bed that apparently takes less than 2 minutes to setup. You also get a table and a storage area as part of this package. It remains to be seen if this feature makes it to India.
Powertrain Options For The New Duster SUV
In Europe, the new Duster is offered with 3 engine options, including a 1.6L petrol hybrid, a 1.2L turbo petrol and an LPG option. The 1.6L petrol hybrid is paired with 2 electric motors and is only available with an automatic transmission. It even features a 1.2kWh battery and regenerative braking for an electric-only ride in the city. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, comes with a 48V starter motor and produces 130PS of power. There are no diesel engine options this time around.
Off-road enthusiasts would like to note that the new Duster comes with 4x2 and 4x4 options. However, the all-wheel-drive is only available with the 1.2L mild hybrid engine. Like before, the new Duster does not get a proper 4-wheel-drive system like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny or Mahindra Thar but will include terrain modes like Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-Road and Eco. Other off-road oriented features include hill-descent control and an inclinometer built into the infotainment system.

Post the launch of the Duster, Renault will introduce a longer version of the SUV with a 7-seat layout.
