In this Q4 2022 Tata quarterly cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Arena and Nexa for the previous year. We’ll also compare the YoY and QoQ change to find out which Maruti cars’ sales improved and which ones declined.

Q4 2022 - Tata Quarterly Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Most Tata cars witnessed a growth in Q4 of 2022 compared to Q4 of 2021, only exception being Harrier with 11.7% decline in YoY comparison of the two quarters
The Tigor was the top gainer with 132% YoY growth
The Nexon is the big volume car in Tata Motors’ portfolio, and now the Punch is following closely in second spot
The Tiago was a distant 3rd, with just about half the dispatch numbers of the Punch
The Harrier and Safari were the only 2 cars in Tata’s portfolio with a 4-figure quarterly sales figure

Q4 2022 - Tata Quarterly Car Sales Figures - QoQ Change

In terms of QoQ change, all Tata cars saw a decline in dispatches in Q4 over Q3
The Harrier was the biggest loser with an QoQ decline of 21%
The Harrier was followed by its sister Safari with a 16% decline and Altroz with a 12% QoQ decline
The Punch was the car that lost least dispatches in Q4 in comparison to Q3, with just 4.44% decline
