In this October 2022 car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all B2-segment sedans in India. Where applicable, we’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales. Lastly, the table with monthly sales of all B2-segment sedans for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend.

B2-Segment Sedans October 2022 Car Sales - YoY Change

The Tata Tigor was the top gainer, with 190% YoY growth in October 2022, followed by Amaze with 81%
Dzire was the top selling car in the category with over 12,000 units dispatched in October of 2022
There were no losers in YoY comparison for the month of October in B2-segment sedan category
Hyundai Xcent/Aura pair and Maruti Dzire saw a 50-60% YoY growth as well

B2-Segment Sedans October 2022 Car Sales - MoM Change

The Honda Amaze was the top gainer, with a 33% rise in sales in October 2022 compared to September 2022
The Dzire was the second biggest MoM gainer, registering a 28% rise in dispatches in October compared to September
Xcent/Aura pair dispatches remained unchanged in October
