MG Motor Inaugurate First EV Charger In A Gurugram Society | V3Cars

MG Motor recently unveiled their first residential community charger. This charger is installed in Gurugram at The WorldSpa condominiums. To enable this, MG has collaborated with Electreefi and the condominium’s RWA (Residential Welfare Association) to offer charger access to all EV owners and drivers, including WorldSpa residents and visitors.

MG plans to bolster the community charger infrastructure in the future with their partners and other RWAs. The carmaker aims to allow a seamless and hassle-free vehicle charging experience across several residential spaces to promote EV adoption.


The launch of residential community charger will add to the EV charging infrastructure not only for MG Motor but also for India. This will promote EVs among car buyers and ease their ownership experience. MG also plan to develop zero-emission zones in the city and promote greener and cleaner mobility in India. Furthermore, the MG have partnered with Fortum and Tata Power to introduce superfast charging stations. This will enable an EV ecosystem in the country.

Currently, MG Motor have one EV in their portfolio, the ZS EV.  It comes with a free AC fast-charger (installed at the customer’s home/office), a plug-and-charge cable and charge-on-the-go with RSA (Roadside Assistance). Watch our MG ZS review:
