MG Gloster Black Storm Edition Launched At Rs. 40.30 Lakh | V3Cars
MG Motor India have launched the Gloster Black Storm edition with a starting price of Rs. 40.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Read on to know the features, prices and powertrain details of the Gloster Black Storm edition.
MG Gloster Black Storm Exterior Details
On the outside, the Gloster Black Storm offers an all-black colour scheme with gloss black accents. The front grille now gets a mesh finish along with gloss black borders. The LED headlights remain the same as before, but they now incorporate red inserts. Furthermore, the Black Storm edition also offers red inserts on the skid plate, side door protectors, side mirrors and rear bumper. It also gets 18-inch all-black alloy wheels along with red brake callipers and quad exhaust pipes with chrome surrounds.

MG Gloster Black Storm Interior And Features
On the inside, the Gloster Black Storm comes with an all-black interior along with black leather seat upholstery. Other highlights on the inside include 64-colour ambient lighting, 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and massaging, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, powered tailgate and finally a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital driver’s display. Furthermore, the Gloster also offers an array of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features including adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic alerts.

The top-spec MG Gloster Black Storm 4WD 6-seater costs Rs. 1.30 lakh more than the Savvy 4WD 6-seater variant. Similarly, the 2WD 6-seater Black Storm also costs Rs. 1.30 lakh more than the Savvy 2WD 6-seater.
MG Gloster Black Storm Powertrain Details
On the powertrain front, the Gloster comes with 2 engine options — 2.0L turbo diesel and 2.0L twin-turbo diesel. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine produces 161PS of power at 4000rpm and 373Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm. The 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 215PS of power at 4000rpm and 478Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm. Both engines come mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and the twin-turbo diesel engine also offers 4-wheel-drive.
