The MG Astor is one of the most popular C-segment SUVs in the country thanks to its long list of features. It was also the first SUV in its segment to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Out of its 3 powertrain options, the 1.5L normal petrol manual is the most fuel efficient with a claimed mileage of 15.43kmpl, followed by the petrol CVT and turbo petrol AT at 14.82kmpl and 14.34kmpl, respectively. Compared to its rivals, the Astor’s fuel efficiency is one of the lowest in the C-segment.

MG Motor India offer the Astor with 2 engine options — 1.5L normal petrol and 1.3L turbo petrol. The 1.5L normal petrol engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The 1.3L turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
