Mercedes-Benz To Launch New-Gen GLC On August 9 | V3Cars
Mercedes-Benz India are all set to launch the new-gen GLC on August 9, 2023. The new GLC comes with an all-new design inside-out along with more efficient powertrains. Read on to know more about the India-bound Mercedes-Benz GLC.
Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC Exterior Design
The new-gen GLC comes with an updated design and it is also larger than the outgoing model. Up front, the new GLC gets an updated chrome grille with a thick chrome surround. The bigger change is that the new all-LED headlights now merge seamlessly with the grille. The GLC AMG Line, on the other hand, gets the tri-star inlet with the chrome grille. The new-gen GLC also gets flush-fitting door handles while the AMG Line models add sportier bumpers and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC Interior And Features
On the inside, the new GLC takes design inspiration from the new S-Class. It gets a flowing centre console that houses the 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a 12.3-inch display for the driver with multiple visual themes. Other features include powered and heated front seats, wireless charging, smartphone integration and a panoramic sunroof.
Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC Powertrain Details
With the new-gen model, the GLC now gets mild-hybrid support with all powertrain options. Currently, the C-Class is the only Mercedes-Benz to offer a mild-hybrid diesel powertrain. The mild-hybrid engine options come with an integrated starter generator that boosts power and torque by 23PS and 200Nm as and when needed. The India-spec GLC will come with 2 powertrain choices - 300 4Matic petrol and 220d 4Matic diesel. The carmaker is likely to announce the complete powertrain details at the launch day itself

Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz GLC Rivals And Launch Details
As we stated earlier, Mercedes-Benz India will launch the new GLC on August 9, 2023. The carmaker has already commenced bookings for the upcoming GLC luxury SUV. The new GLC will continue to rival other luxury SUVs like the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Jaguar F-Pace.
