Maruti Suzuki Swift Adult Occupant Safety

Maruti Suzuki Swift scored a 1-star rating in adult occupant safety, securing 19.19 points out of 34 points. It offered good protection to the driver and front co-passenger’s head and neck. However, the protection offered to the driver’s chest was weak and adequate for the front co-passenger. The latest crash test found that the driver’s knees and co-passenger’s right knee are prone to receive impact from dangerous structures in a crash. In the side impact test, the Swift offered good protection to the driver's head, pelvis and abdomen whereas chest protection was rated poor.
