New Maruti Suzuki Swift Interior Revealed – Does It Get ADAS? | V3Cars

Suzuki are set to showcase the 2024 Swift concept hatchback later this month at the Japan Mobility Show. The carmaker revealed images of the exterior and interior of the new Swift. The interior image of the new Swift 2024 features a steering wheel with a button dedicated for lane keeping assist. Read on to know more.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift To Get ADAS?

Suzuki have released several images of the new Swift, including its front and rear as well the cabin. The images of the cabin reveal a few interesting details, such as the presence of a dedicated button on the steering wheel for Lane Keeping Assist. Hence, we can expect the new Swift to feature a host of ADAS features.

The exterior images of the new hatchback reveal a radar sensor mounted at the top of the grille. This suggests that the new Swift could get ADAS features like High Beam Assist and Autonomous Emergency Braking. That said, it remains to be seen if Maruti Suzuki offer these ADAS features on the India-spec Swift.

The images released by Suzuki showcases the dashboard of the 2024 Swift in all its glory. The cabin looks a lot more premium than before and looks similar to the interior of the new Baleno. Suzuki have ditched the round AC vents altogether. Instead, the central vents look similar to the ones offered in the Baleno with the hazard switch placed in the middle. Above these AC vents lies a new 9-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system. Even the HCAV controls look similar to the ones offered in the Baleno.

Other highlights inside the new Swift include dual-tone white and black dashboard, textured door cards, engine start-stop button and a part-digital instrument cluster. The latter features an analogue tachometer and digital speedometer and multi-info display, which should please car enthusiasts. The image also shows 2 USB charging ports and a 12V power socket placed lower down the centre console.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift India Launch

We expect Suzuki to showcase the 2024 Swift at the Tokyo Motor Show in January next year. Maruti Suzuki could launch the new Swift in India soon after its international debut. When launched, the new Swift 2024 will continue to rival the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Tiago, among other B-segment hatchbacks sold in the country.
