Maruti Suzuki Adds Wireless Android Auto And Apple CarPlay For Baleno Via Software Update | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki recently rolled out a software update for the Baleno that enables wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with other small updates. You can download the latest update from the infotainment system or via the smartphone app.
New Baleno Gets Wireless Connectivity And Turn-by-Turn Navigation
The new Baleno has received an OTA update that not only enables wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but also turn-by-turn navigation. After the latest update, the Baleno offers turn-by-turn navigation on the head-up display and multi-info display (MID). It’s worth noting that turn-by-turn navigation will only work with Apple Maps and Google Maps when connected with Apple CarPlay and Google Maps.

How To Install The OTA Update?
Maruti Suzuki offer 2 options to enable the new features in your Baleno. The first option lets you use your smartphone and install the OTA update via the SmartPlay Pro Sync app. The second option involves downloading the update from Maruti Suzuki’s website and installing it in the infotainment system. You can also reach out to your nearest Maruti Suzuki dealership to seek assistance for installation.

The new Baleno comes with a couple of interesting features over the previous model. A few of these features include:
- Head-up display
- 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- 6 airbags
- Traction control
- Cruise control
- Rear AC vents
- LED fog lights

Hi. Great info. I just updated the software in my Baleno Zeta AMT. Wireless CarPlay works. However, I was not able to figure out the turn by turn navigation in the MID. Can you please share information regarding that?
