Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 LXi – Detailed Walkaround Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars
Maruti Suzuki are all set to launch the 2022 Alto K10 on August 18. The new Alto will only offer a 1.0L normal petrol engine. Here is everything you need to know about the Alto K10 LXi variant.
On the outside, the LXi variant of the Alto K10 gets clear-lens halogen headlights with integrated turn indicators. There is no provision for fog lamps and the Alto LXi chrome design accents too. However, it does feature a honeycomb mesh grille with gloss black treatment.

At the side, the Alto K10 LXi gets steel wheels and fender-mounted turn indicators. Both door handles and outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) are finished in black whereas the top variants will get body-coloured door handles and ORVMs. The LXi variant of the Alto K10 gets 145/55 R13 tyres, which is a big step up from the 145/80 R12 tyres found in the outgoing Alto.
At the rear, the Alto K10 LXi gets circular tail lights along with ‘Alto K10’ badging. It also gets a high-mounted stop lamp along with a sporty rear bumper. Although the Alto K10’s rear design resembles the 2022 Celerio, it feels more compact than its elder sibling.
On the inside, the Alto K10 is likely to offer dual-tone fabric seats. Apart from that, we do not expect the Alto K10 LXi to offer a lot of features. The list of standard features could include internally adjustable ORVMs, ABS, dual airbags, central locking and manually-adjustable windows.

On the powertrain front, the Alto K10 will share its 1.0L normal petrol engine with the Celerio. Like the Celerio, the Alto K10 is expected to produce 66PS of power at 5500rpm and 89Nm of torque at 3500rpm. Maruti Suzuki will offer the Alto K10 with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
