Mahindra XUV300 Electric Spied With New LED Tail lights

Mahindra XUV300 Electric Spied Ahead Of Launch | V3Cars

The Mahindra XUV300 Electric is slated for launch in the first quarter of 2023. The XUV300 Electric is likely to be called the XUV400 to set it apart from the ICE-powered XUV300. Mahindra also revealed that the XUV300 Electric would measure around 4.2 metres. We expect the XUV300 Electric to offer a claimed range of up to 400km on a single charge.

Mahindra XUV300 Electric

Mahindra revealed the XUV300 Electric concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. However, the production-spec XUV400 is likely to get multiple changes in length, space, features and performance. While Mahindra are yet to announce the battery and performance specs of the XUV300 Electric, it is likely to get a 40kWh battery pack. We also expect the XUV300 Electric to offer up to 150+ PS of power.

Thanks to the size advantage, the XUV300 Electric will sit above the recently-launched Nexon EV Max. The Nexon EV Max measures under 4 metres in length and offers a claimed range of 437km on a single charge. The upcoming XUV300 Electric will then sit between the Nexon EV Max and the MG ZS EV.

The latest spy shots of the XUV300 Electric reveal the rear of the electric SUV. It hints at redesigned LED taillights and a longer rear overhang. As electric cars and SUVs do not face higher tax impositions with respect to length, we do not expect any big price correction owing to the increased size. The added length will also solve the XUV300’s biggest problem, which is its shallow boot space.
