Mahindra Marazzo AMT To Launch Soon | V3Cars

Mahindra has been working on the Marazzzo AMT for a long time now and it has been spotted testing at multiple occasions. In the latest development, Mahindra has registered the Marazzo AMT with the Delhi RTO suggesting its imminent launch.

The Marazzo AMT is expected to get a 6-speed AMT gearbox. It will be paired to a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 123PS of power and 300Nm of torque. Currently, the Marazzo is available with a 6-speed manual transmission only. 

Mahindra is also expected to introduce a turbocharged petrol engine on Marazzo. It is expected to be a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine making 163PS and 280Nm paired to a manual as well as an automatic transmission.

As the per the RTO document, the Marazzo AMT will be offered in three variants: M2, M4+ and M6+, like its manual counterpart. It will be offered with both 7-and 8-seater options. As a result, the Marazzo AMT’s feature list should remain identical to its manual counterpart. 

It gets projector headlamps, 17-inch alloys, auto AC with a dedicated rear AC unit, tilt-adjustable steering, height-adjustable driver’s seat, parking camera, front and rear fog lamps and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features on offer include dual front airbags,  ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchors. 

Mahindra Marazzo AMT is expected to go on sale in the coming few months. Prices of the Marazzo AMT are expected to range from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 14.5 lakh, at a premium of around Rs 50,000 over the manual variants. It will continue to take on likes of the Maruti Ertiga, XL6 and the Toyota Innova Crysta.
