Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus 9-Seater Spotted On Test — Launch Soon | V3Cars

Mahindra are likely to launch the 9-seater variant of the Bolero Neo soon. A test mule of the Bolero Neo Plus was recently spotted on the road. The Bolero Neo Plus 9-seater is likely to get a more powerful diesel engine over its 7-seat counterpart to haul the extra weight.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus 9-Seater Details

The Bolero Neo Plus is the rebadged version of the TUV300 Plus. Mahindra discontinued the TUV300 back in 2021 and replaced it with the Bolero Neo. Similarly, the Bolero Neo Plus will replace the now-discontinued Mahindra TUV300 Plus. While it will look similar to the Bolero Neo, the Bolero Neo Plus will be longer in length and offer seating for up to 9 passengers.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Interior And Features

On the inside, the Bolero Neo Plus comes with a conventional dashboard layout. The design is similar to the dashboard offered in the discontinued TUV300 Plus and the new Bolero Neo. The dashboard features a touchscreen infotainment system placed in the centre, just below the AC vents. Other features include manual AC, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, power window controls on the centre console and a front armrest.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Powertrain Details

The new Bolero Neo Plus is likely to come with a 2.2L turbo diesel engine. The Bolero Neo, on the other hand, comes with a 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine. The 2.2L turbo diesel engine in the Bolero Neo Plus could produce 132PS of power at 3750rpm and 300Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3000rpm. It is likely to be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission and we do not expect Mahindra to offer an automatic transmission option with the Bolero Neo Plus.

2023 Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus Launch Details

Mahindra could launch the Bolero Neo Plus in March 2023. The carmaker is likely to open bookings for the family SUV in the coming weeks. At launch, the Bolero Neo will not have any direct rivals and it will target buyers with large families and cab aggregators.
