Nissan Launch Made-In-India Magnite AMT In South Africa | V3Cars

Nissan India launched the Magnite AMT in India in October this year at a starting price of Rs. 6.50 lakh. Now, the carmaker has introduced the made-in-India Magnite AMT in South Africa at 234,900 Rand, which is the equivalent of Rs. 10.40 lakh. Let’s take a look at the similarities and differences between the India and South Africa-spec Magnite AMT.

Nissan Magnite AMT Variants And Features For South Africa

The India-spec Magnite AMT is currently available in 5 variants, including the Kuro edition. However, in South Africa, the carmaker is offering the Magnite AMT in 3 variants – Vista, Acenta and Acenta Plus – only. The base Vista variant of the Magnite offers 16-inch steel wheels, climate control, a basic 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, and a multi-function steering wheel.

The Magnite AMT Acenta variant adds 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start-stop, and cruise control. The Acenta Plus variant offers LED headlamps and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Nissan offer the Magnite AMT with the same powertrain in both nations – a 1.0-litre normal petrol engine that produces 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The Magnite AMT offers features such as anti-stall and creep function as standard across all variants. It also offers vehicle dynamic control and hill start assist as standard. The Nissan Magnite AMT boasts an ARAI-rated fuel economy figure of 19.70kmpl.
