Lexus LX500d Exterior Details
In terms of design, the Lexus LX looks like the older model, while retaining the wheelbase as well as approach and departure angles. Up front, the LX gets a large signature grille with a large Lexus logo at the centre. The LED headlights have been updated with a sleeker DRL pattern as well.
The side profile of the 2022 Lexus LX remains largely the same, save for more pronounced and squared-off wheel arches. The window line gets chrome accents sweeping upwards as it progresses towards the rear of the SUV. The India-spec model features 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, the LX gets sleeker LED taillights with a connecting bar accompanied by a flat tailgate design and a large rear window.

Lexus LX500d Interior Details
On the inside, the Lexus LX gets all the latest technology one can expect from an SUV of this class. The smaller touchscreen is responsible for managing the various offroad modes and ride-height control. While the LX is a fairly large SUV, the India-spec Lexus LX comes with a 5-seat option only.
Lexus LX500d Powertrain Details
The India-spec Lexus LX500d comes with a 3.3L turbo diesel engine. It produces 308PS of power at 4000rpm and 700Nm of torque between 1600rpm and 2600rpm. The engine comes with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission and 4-wheel-drive.

Lexus LX500d Rivals
The Lexus LX500d goes up against the likes of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 and Land Rover Range Rover. The LX500d shares its powertrains and underpinnings with the Toyota Land Cruiser but dials up the luxury quotient with higher brand value and features. It is worth mentioning that Toyota will soon announce the prices of the Land Cruiser, which will cost much lower than the LX500d.
