Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition Launched At Rs. 1.26 Crore | V3Cars

Land Rover have launched a new Metropolitan Edition of the Discovery 7-seater luxury SUV. This edition sits at the top of the Discovery lineup and costs Rs. 1.26 crore (ex-showroom). Bookings for Discovery Metropolitan Edition are now open.

Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition

The Metropolitan Edition is based on the Discovery R-Dynamic HSE. The grille and Discovery lettering on the front are finished in a different colour. The front bumper gets silver inserts. The SUV wears 20-inch dark grey alloy wheels with brake callipers finished in black.

The car gets a 2-pane panoramic sunroof and PM 2.5 filter in the features front. Other standard fitments in the Metropolitan Edition include a 12.3-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster, wireless charging, 4-zone auto AC and heated steering wheel. The rear seats get a heating and ventilation system with electric recline and seat folding too.

The Land Rover Discovery gets the option of a petrol and a diesel engine. The 3.0L diesel engine produces 300PS of power and 650Nm of torque. The 3.0L straight-six turbo petrol engine produces 360PS of power and 500Nm of torque. The SUV comes with a 4-wheel-drive system as standard.
