Exclusive: 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 Mileage Revealed | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki XL6 is about to receive a facelift. With the new 1.5L dual-jet petrol engine, the XL6 will offer better fuel efficiency than before. The bookings for the 2022 XL6 facelift are currently open whereas the launch will take place in late April.

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 will come with a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.97kmpl for the manual and 20.27kmpl for the automatic transmission. The outgoing XL6, on the other hand, offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.01kmpl and 17.99kmpl for the manual and automatic transmission respectively.

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 will be powered by a new 1.5L normal petrol engine with dual-jet technology and a mild-hybrid system. This engine made its debut with the recently-launched Ertiga facelift. The petrol engine now produces 103PS of power and 136.8Nm of torque. It will get a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The new transmission will replace the ageing 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 5-speed manual, on the other hand, will continue to serve the XL6 manual variants without any changes.

The 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 will go up against the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift. With the new changes, Maruti Suzuki are likely to charge a premium of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 over the outgoing model.
