Kia India will launch the Seltos facelift in the Indian market in mid-2022. The Seltos facelift has been spied on test multiple times globally, revealing some key details. Apart from the design and feature changes, the Seltos facelift is likely to remain unchanged mechanically.
The upcoming Kia Seltos facelift will sport multiple design changes. Spy shots reveal the possibility of split LED headlights, a new design for the alloy wheels, tweaked bumpers, and new LED tail lights. In addition to that, the latest spy shot also revealed the ADAS module on the lower bumper of a Seltos facelift test car.

Recently, Hyundai launched the Creta facelift in the Indonesian market with ADAS. In the Indian market, SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700 and MG Astor already offer ADAS. To take on the competition, the Korean siblings will eventually offer ADAS in their respective crossovers.
Exterior changes aside, we do not expect any mechanical changes in the 2022 Kia Seltos facelift. It will continue with the 115PS 1.5L normal petrol, 115PS 1.5L turbo diesel and 140PS 1.4L turbo petrol engine options. Transmission options including the 6-speed manual, 6-speed TC AT, 7-speed DCT and CVT will continue as is in the current Seltos.

With the Seltos facelift, Kia India could make 6 airbags and other nifty safety features like ESP as standard on all variants. The Kia Carens currently offers 6 airbags, ESP, TPMS and all four disc brakes right from the base variant at a lower starting price than the Seltos. Hence, with the facelift, we do not expect the prices of the Seltos to increase by a big margin.
