Hyundai Verna Gets Wireless Apple CarPlay And Android Auto Support | V3Cars
As Hyundai is gearing up to introduce mild updates on the Creta, the carmaker has silently updated Verna’s feature list and has introduced wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support on some of its variants. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system offered on the S+ and SX is now equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while the 8-inch unit offered on the SX(O) and SX(O) Turbo variants continue forward with the wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
Other features on the Verna remain unchanged. It continues to get features like ventilated front seats, auto LED headlamps, connected car tech, auto-dimming IRVM, auto AC with rear AC vents, push-button start, electric sunroof, cruise control, wireless mobile charging, front and rear parking sensors, upto 6 airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitroing system and hill launch assist.
Under the hood, the Verna is offered with three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (115PS/144Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (120PS/172Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115PS/250Nm). The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines are offered with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard with an option of CVT and 6-speed automatic with petrol and diesel engines, respectively. The 1.0-litre turbo unit is offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission only.
Prices of the Verna continue to range from Rs 9.19 lakh to Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It continues to take on the likes of the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Toyota Yaris and the upcoming Toyota Belta (rebadged Maruti Ciaz).
