Hyundai Venue Crosses 3 Lakh Unit Sales Milestone | V3Cars

The Hyundai Venue sub-compact SUV has crossed the 3 lakh sales unit milestone. Launched in May 2019, the Hyundai Venue achieved this feat in just 3 years.

Since it’s launch, the Hyundai Venue has been among the top sellers in its segment which also consists of the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon. The Hyundai Venue won over customers with its wide range of engine and transmission options and segment-best features. To further strengthen the Venue’s position in the segment, Hyundai are set to roll out the Venue facelift in June

In their press release, Hyundai mentioned that 70% of all Venue sales comprise of petrol variants. In addition to that, the Venue accounted for more than 42% share of all SUVs sold by Hyundai in 2021. Hyundai also revealed that 18% of buyers opted for variants equipped with Bluelink connected car technology.

The Hyundai Venue was not only the first sub-compact SUV to offer e-SIM based connected car tech, but it was also the first car in India to offer the option of an auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT). The ACMT (iMT in Hyundai speak) comes mated to a 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Hyundai also offer the 1.0L turbo petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT whereas the 6-speed manual transmission has been taken off the shelves.

To continue the success of the Venue sub-compact SUV, Hyundai India will launch the Venue facelift in June.
