Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV Achieves 500 Unit Sales Milestone | V3Cars
Hyundai India launched the Ioniq 5 at the 2023 Auto Expo at a price of Rs. 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai have now announced that the Ioniq 5 has achieved the 500 unit sales milestone. Read on to know more about the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 Sales Cross 500 Unit Mark
Hyundai offer the Ioniq 5 in the Indian market via the completely knocked down (CKD) route. Since it is assembled right here in India, it attracts lower tax impositions, enabling Hyundai to offer it at an attractive price tag. For instance, the Kia EV6, which shares its underpinnings with the Ioniq 5, is sold via the CBU route. Since CBU cars attract higher tax impositions, the equivalent variant of the Kia EV6 costs Rs. 60.95 lakh, which is Rs. 16 lakh more expensive than the Ioniq 5.
