Hyundai Creta N Line Spied On Test Globally

Hyundai Creta N Line Makes First Road Appearance — Global Unveil Soon | V3Cars

Hyundai recently teased the Creta N Line, the latest product to join the South Korean brand’s sporty N Line portfolio. The Creta N Line has now been spied on test with a different design than the standard Creta that’s currently on sale. As we reported earlier, the test mule of the Creta N Line is based on the Creta pre-facelift and not the Creta facelift that is currently on sale in Indonesia.

The spy shots reveal the design changes to the front and rear profiles of the Creta N Line. Up front, the Creta N Line gets a Tucson-inspired grille with larger chrome elements and a wider stance. A large chrome border sits atop the grille whereas the lower part of the cascading grille is enclosed by a horizontal line. We can also see deeper inlets for the radiator and slimmer fog lights.

At the side, the Creta N Line doesn’t get any substantial changes. The spied car was seen testing with familiar-looking alloy wheels. However, we expect the production-spec Creta N Line to boast an N Line alloy wheel design.

At the rear, the Creta N Line borrows its design from the Creta facelift. The inverted LED taillights now get a smaller supporting LED element on the boot. The tail gate, on the other hand, gains more muscle and merges seamlessly with the curves of the taillights. Like the i20 N Line, the Creta N Line also gets a twin-pipe exhaust.

We are yet to see the interiors of the Creta N Line. However, we expect the Creta N Line to offer an all-black dashboard along with multiple sporty touches and red accents. Expect features like an N Line steering wheel, aluminium pedals, N Line gear shifter, sporty seat upholstery and red inserts.

In the Brazilian market, the Creta N Line is likely to be offered with a 2.0L normal petrol engine that powers the India-spec Alcazar. The 2.0L normal petrol engine is not likely to gain any power or torque over the current state of tune. The India-spec Creta N Line, on the other hand, is expected to make use of the 1.4L turbo petrol engine instead. Currently, the 1.4L turbo petrol engine produces 140PS of power and 242Nm of peak torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Hyundai are expected to reveal the Creta N Line in June 2022 globally. Closer to home, Hyundai India are gearing up to launch the Venue facelift and Venue N Line in late-June 2022. The Venue facelift will bring multiple design and functional changes over the outgoing model. You can read more about the Venue facelift by clicking the link below.
