Hyundai Aura SX CNG Launched — Priced At Rs. 8.57 Lakh | V3Cars

Hyundai India have launched the Aura SX CNG at Rs. 8.57 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. It comes loaded with features like 15-inch machined alloy wheels, chrome door handles, a shark fin antenna and a semi-digital instrument cluster.

After the launch of the Tata Tigor CNG, more brands started offering higher variants of their respective CNG offerings. Maruti Suzuki recently extended their CNG offerings to the ZXi variants with the launch of the Ertiga ZXi CNG and Dzire ZXi CNG. Hyundai have now followed their footsteps and launched the Aura CNG in the mid-spec SX variant, which comes with several feel-good features.

On the features front, the Aura SX CNG packs the following features:

8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Auto-folding outside mirrors
15-inch alloy wheels
All 4 power windows
Tilt steering
Keyless entry
Height-adjustable driver seat
Reverse parking camera
LED DRLs
Manual AC

The Hyundai Aura CNG comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine. When running on CNG, this engine produces 69PS of power and 95Nm of torque at 4000rpm. While running on petrol, the Aura CNG variants produce the same power and torque figures as the petrol variants, at 83PS 113Nm respectively. The Aura CNG variant is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission whereas the Aura petrol variants also get the option of a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

With the latest launch, the Hyundai Aura CNG is now available in two variants — S at Rs. 7.88 lakh and SX at Rs. 8.57 lakh ex-showroom. The Aura CNG goes up against the Tata Tigor CNG and the recently-launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG.
