Ford Figo, Aspire & Freestyle Variants Rejigged; Prices Hiked By Upto Rs 19,000 | V3Cars

Ford has announced a price hike across three of its models including the Figo, Aspire and the Freestyle. The prices have gone up by up to Rs 19,000. Along with the price hike, the American carmaker has also updated the variant lineup of all the three cars. So, let’s take a look.

Ford Figo:

The Figo is now priced from Rs 5.64 lakh to Rs 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While some of the variants have seen a price hike of Rs 4,000, prices of other variants have gone up by up to Rs 19,000. Ford is offering the Figo with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine on offer is a 1.2-litre unit making 96PS and 119Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is 1.5-litre unit making 100PS and 215Nm. Both the engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission only. Ford offers these same engines and transmission combinations on the Aspire and the Freestyle as well.

The Aspire is now priced from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Prices of the Aspire have gone up by Rs 5,000 across all the variants. Since Ford has now discontinued base-spec Ambiente petrol variant, the base price of the Aspire has gone up by Rs 1.15 lakh. Like the Figo, the Aspire is also offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine (96PS/119Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (100PS/215Nm) paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Freestyle is now priced from Rs 7.09 lakh to Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It has seen a price hike of Rs 5,000 across all the variants. It has to be noted since Ford now discontinued the base-spec Ambiente petrol variant of the Freestyle, the base price of the Freestyle has gone up by Rs 1.1 lakh.
