Ford has silently discontinued the base-spec 4X2 Titanium variant of the Endeavour which was priced at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). As a result, the Endeavour is now available in a single top-spec Titanium+ variant which starts at Rs 33.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Sport variant is essentially the Titanium+ variant but with some additional cosmetic updates. So, the Endeavour is available in a single fully loaded variant only.

Under the hood, the Endeavour is available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It makes 170PS and 420Nm mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Endeavour is offered in both 4X2 and 4X4 configurations.

The Endeavour is loaded on the features front. It gets a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone AC, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, powered tailgate, ambient lighting and 8-way power-adjustable front seats.

Safety features on offer include 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, hill launch assist, hill descent control (4X4 only), electronic stability control, parking camera, emergency assistance and semi-auto parallel parking assist.

The Endeavour continues to rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, Isuzu mu-X, MG Gloster, Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace and the upcoming Jeep 7-seater SUV. Meanwhile, the new Endeavour has already spied testing abroad.

Although the SUV was heavily camouflaged, it is safe to say that the new Endeavour will receive a major design overhaul. The test mule looks a lot boxier with a flatter bonnet and a more upright stance than the current model as the front profile looks similar to the upcoming Ford Ranger Pickup truck (not India bound).
