Even after the launch of the City 5th-gen, Honda decided to keep the 4th-gen City on sale with the potent 1.5L normal petrol engine. However, with the new emission norms coming into action, Honda are likely to finally pull the plug on the 4th-gen City. However, it remains to be a no-nonsense sedan with good space, reliable mechanicals and the badge of the longest-running sedan in India.. The 1.5L normal petrol engine in the 4th-gen City produces 119PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4600rpm. The prices of the 4th-gen City are Rs. 9.50 lakh for the SV variant and Rs. 9.99 lakh for the V variant ex-showroom. Because of its sub Rs. 10.0 lakh ex-showroom price tag, it will also fall in a lower tax bracket in several states.
